Two youth attacked a Gulf national and stole his car after he dropped them on the Exhibition Road, police said yesterday.
The victim, who had arrived in Bahrain via the King Fahd Causeway, saw the two youth on the road and stopped to give them a ride. Initially the youth requested him to drop them to Isa Town but later asked him to take them to the Exhibition Road. On reaching the destination, the youth started beating him up. When he ran out of the car to seek help, the youth drove away. The police found the car with its tyres and other items missing in Ma’ameer. The youth also smashed all the four windows and stole the driver’s passport, the police added.
